Hands up who is a neuro,doctor or specialist.......anyone?
Let me see who we have with some medical background.........wright,yes he answers when he can but is very busy.......aly,she is an ms nurse......i think another odd couple of nurses are about.

Who does the bulk of the answering?
Pals,who only know what there neuro tells them and by there own experience.
They are the most selfless people i have ever met,despite there own terminal diagnosed and disabilites they try there best to help.
Cals,saints who not only work hard caring for there own pal but take time out to help others on the forum.

I personally have spent years and wrote several hundreds of posts helping others despite my own disabilites and problems on that part of the forum.

We can only do our best and if some people can not except that then they should move on elsewhere.

I am going to ask david to close this thread.

I read lots on this forum to gain information. I don't always post, in fact I rarely post. Does this make me a troll? I hope not.
I think that this thread is the most interesting one on the forum right now and for whatever reasons (good or bad) the viewing figures back this up. Views are being aired and truths are coming out. Not a bad thing at all in my experience and it may do this forum good to get all the hidden agendas out in the open instead of pretending it's not happening. It's pretty obvious to all who take the time to read past posts/theads that there has been some discord among the long term members here. Maybe this is the opportunity to get things sorted. In the real world it would be done behind closed doors, totally different on a public forum. If it's not sorted it will continue to fester.Banning people and closing threads solves nothing. It's the equivalent of the "La la la, I'm not listening" example I saw here.

I was saddened to see that Scotslassie had been banned. Someone who has a differing opinion from others is hounded out. A lot of people on here may not have agreed with what she said but I think there was a ring of truth to a lot of it. She spoke out loud about things on this forum, good and bad, instead of whispering about it in the background. The way her posts were answered here were nothing more than infantile and embarrassing in most cases. Poster No 35 - who exactly are the "gruesome threesome" you speak of? If you cannot back up your allegations with facts then it's maybe best to say nothing at all rather than dangle these "snippets" for only those who are in the know. This is a public forum and this thread in it's entirety has reduced its credibility. Vzant, I really don't think you are one of the "Gruesome Threesome", you look at all posts with an open outlook, see both sides, and answer accordingly. Johnnyliverpool, you have been called every name I can think of on this forum from illiterate to despicable. You are down to earth and unpretentious, you call a spade a spade and your posts are honest and truthfull. Kiwisally, your wit and wisdom know no bounds and this forum is a duller place without your regular input. I have worked out who the "Gruesome Threesome" are. Honest, experienced people with a wealth of information, a sense of humour and with their fingers on the pulse of life.

Olly I sure miss Richard. When I started thinking about him after your post, I got tearful. He was such a sweet fellow and he adored his little girl Amelia. He did indeed have a quirky sense of humour and such a quick wit. And he was such a fighter. No use of his arms yet he kept modifying his pedal bike so he could pull his little girl around in a wagon. And those stories where he would climb up on the ktichen counters to get something and use his feet to do it, and then his wife would give him hell when she found out. His progression was slow so I thought we would have him for a long time, and then his big heart just gave out. I remember his post about Amelia --her saying something like "can I have a popsicle now in case I fall and get hurt later?" The good ones leave us far too soon. Boy we have sure been lucky over the years with some very fine people here. The new year makes me a little melancholy thinking of all the wonderful people that I have met here. We are so lucky to have known them.
