  • Laurel, You are such a kind soul! I hope you and your hubby are doing well. It seems the last we "spoke" you were preparing to move (??) xoxo
    Hi Laurel,

I am in the process of being diagnosed with "something autoimmune related" like a CIDP or MMN. Would you mind if I asked you a few questions?

    Hi Laurel,

Glad you liked the story. I will try to post a picture of Rocky on my profile page.....as soon as I figure out how to do it. He's a 12 pound bundle of cat, sometimes crazy energetic, sometimes so lazy he can't even stand his own self. When we haven't heard from him in a while, we check the bathroom where we have a rug on the heated tile floor. He is Soooo spoiled, always finds the very most comfortable place possible. I guess that is typical cat.

Anyway, nice to 'talk' to you. I'll let you know about that picture.....

Oh yeah, nice picture of you and your horse.
I am doing better.. some days not so good, others ok. Flying to Reno nevada tuesday to meet several from the forum.. Lori, Aly, Di, Jen, Ottawa girl..Elaine. several more. Can't wait to meet evryone. Probably gonna be smiles and tears..
Hi,i was going to add but the thread has been closed.........i loved richard,we used to wind each other up something rotton but all in good fun.
Was just trying add some more fun to the thread, obviously kiwi only finds her joking funny......mines childish or public bashing.
So many great friends have departed, amazing personalities its a shame they are replaced by lassies and kiwis and such.
    Take care. caroline.
Thanks so much for reposting Joel's post about twitching in Tiname's thread. I found it very informative, but I doubt that the info will satisfy her as she was one of the previous posters who had multiple accounts.
So glad you're bringing your knowledge and experience to the forums!
Hello Laurel- thank you for your good wishes. I am so sorry for the position you are in with your husband and your self with MS. That's a load to carry- but I have a feeling you're a real fighter. You really don't have any choice do you. I wish you all the best in your struggle and send my best wishes to your hubbie as well. Take good care- Karin
Hey Laurel, yea it was a sad Christmas for me, first time in 34 years I did not put out anything Christmas. I am like you..maybe with spring will come a new beginning. Hugs to you.
Merry Christmas Laurel! Hope this has been a good day for you. We had a really nice time celebrating Christmas Eve with my dad last night at my house. It was just relaxing with alot of laughter. My dad just beamed watching my kids get so excited opening their presents. Our dog Skipper (a puggle) was beyond excited to see my dad after not seeing him for several months. Take care, Kim
Laurel, You have my prayers dear one. Two years ago today (Christmas day) Eddie received his
trach. What a day. Be of good cheer, Christ has overcome the world.

May the scars be turned into stars. May healing rest our souls with hope of a great future, where there is
    no pain and suffering. Amen

    Hugs,
    Gentleman Jim
    Hi Laurel,
Just wanted to stop by and wish you a Merry Christmas. My dad is has ALS is coming over to celebrate at our house Christmas Eve. We will have dinner, visit, and the kids will open a few gifts. How are things going for you? My dad is doing so-so. He is starting to lose strength in his arms now which is frustrating him quite a bit. But, he is back here in the same town as me living in his own home which he's happy about. We have a family friend that has moved in with him and is his full-time caregiver. Then we just hired a nursing student as back-up. Plus, we do what we can do as well. Take care of yourself. You are in my prayers. Kim
