My name is Steve and I'm from Tampa, Florida. I'm of course a new member. I found this site while doing a lot of internet research, after finding out my aunt was diagnosed with ALS. My dad, grandfather, uncle and also another aunt have all passed away due to ALS. When my recent aunt who was diagnosed with ALS was at the doctor, he said that FALS is running around my family. As soon as we get my aunts genetics results back, we have the option of going and getting the genetics test as well.

I just wanted to say hi I've read a lot of stories on here and all of them are touching.

Steve, I'm still in the "just hurry up and wait" stage but certainly if I get the dreaded news, I will want my son to be tested. I'm so sorry to hear that so many of your family members have been effected. My thoughts are with you.
