I totally understand Steve, accepting this diagnosis is just so hard to do!
However if you do consider the DPS, it has a much smaller window of opportunity than the peg has. Getting both done at once also helps in that you don't face two lots of surgery. Something to think about and discuss with your wife and doctors.
