Tips
Hi Guys, just some advice while you are using your old masks. We are on the 3rd one for my mam, I know we are lucky here in Ireland as all equipment is free and they are so good if we dont like one they will automatically replace it, Cannot talk highly enough of our government for our Welfare and health system in that respect!
Some tips, I found when the mask was noisey it was almost always down to water in the tubes, hold up your hose and let all the water spill back into the humidifier. Do this every couple of hours or as often as you like, by drying out the mask and tube every now and again you will find that the noise has stopped completely. We always put the humidifier halfway up, so its on 2and a half (it goes up to 5) and i find that the water does not spill out, maybe you have it up too high and thats why your getting wet. Again, everytime you do take it off, give it a little wipe and clear out the tubes, this will get rid of excess water.
Just thought id share the tips that the respiratory company we use share with us! Hope it works.....
