I don't own a phone with video capability.

mkboreson - I connected with the fella on youtube but no reply yet. Do you know what quantity and form of (powder or pill?) Lunasin he used?

Nope...it's happening all by itself but the doctors aren't unhappy with it yet....he's down to 270 and they are talking about a feeding tube soon. Will know more after the next "breathalyzer" the 15th. He's still eating well and with the alka seltzer having much less problem with it.

Music - Did he ever get back to you?

mkboreson - Yes he finally got back to me. I started on the Reliv and Pro-Advantage powders this morning along with the tablets.

I thought I would mention that the 12 lunisen tabs I am taking are the Carefast brand - 250 mg - which seem to be a lot cheaper than the Reliv brand. Everything else is the same but my monthly total is around $400 instead of $700.

I am going to switch over to the LunaRich tablets this week to compare the difference.

Music, are you feeling any better? Any differences? Michael is accepted into a stem cell trial and we are waiting until after he receives his to start.

MK, as we're practically neighbors I'd be really interested in where this trial is being held!

No change yet.. Way too early to tell.

Just thought this might be the best section to ask a simple question that any of you on this site might know easily:

What would be some healthy protein drinks ( tasty) low in sugar.

I want to add Vitamin e's and a few other vitamins I find difficult to swallow sometimes.

Can Coconut Oil be added without it looking or tasting oily .

( diagnosed a little over a month ago with bulbar onset)
Thank you,

Susan

smoothies Susan

for protein add in any mix you like - chia seeds, peanut butter, any nuts, yoghurt, protein powders. for taste use honey and or fruits

you can make smoothies easily that are hundreds of calories for a single serve. remember you need high calories as well as good protein so pile in the cream, fruits, yoghurts, nuts etc

Thank you, Tillie !

and they taste alot better than Boost or Ensure! :)

That's true Sean but I forgot to mention you and also add boost or ensure or any of those into a smoothie if you don't mind the taste.

I used to take a chocolate ensure plus, put in the blender with a couple of big ice cream scoops and a banana and Chris said they tasted good.
