TR, I guess I started listening to what became known as contemporary Christian music before it had a name (yep, guess I've got to accept the fact that I'm no longer young
. There was a simplicity and purity to it before it became a commercial commodity. Some of my early favorites were Don Francisco, The Second Chapter of Acts (siblings Annie Herring, Matthew Ward, and Nellie Ward), Keith Green, Terry Clark, and Twila Paris. Bill Gaither has been a steady presence throughout many years. Among my later favorites were Michael Card, Wayne Watson, Steve Camp, Fernando Ortega, and, of course, Rich Mullins.
