  • Thanks Hal, I thought your comment was a very good summary of the heart of my predicament! The great challenge about posting all this is that one can feel anxious about how the rest of the MND community will judge the situation. Never mind, there is plenty of care here i think.
    Are you travelling well Hal?
    Roderick.
    Hi Hal,
I just wondered if you are able to do your glutathione IVs from home? If so, how did you make this happen?

    Thanks,
    Aimee
Hi Hal- I was recently diagnosed with ALS. I am just down the street from you here in Ventura, CA. Can you recommend a good Dr. in the Santa Barbara area, or perhaps recommend an ALS clinic that you drive to? Many thanks - Christina
    Hi Hal
Still doing well with the PEG? I hope so. I've been thinking about you ever since seeing your post.

Hi Im writing you because i read your post concering the p90x post.

I have the exact same situation as you, i injured my c-spine doing the exact same yoga pose, and was in intense pain thereafter for 2 months. couldnt move my neck. Fasics started about 3 months after and swallowing troubles.... my neuro exam is still normal but im having widespread muscle atrophy as well as widespread fasics.

My jaw hit the floor when i read your situation and that yoga pose from the p90x program. I'm interested in trying upper cervical chiropractic... I will finish reading your posts as to how your situation has progressed. Have you had an MRI? what did it show?
    Hi Hal,
I was just reading your post where you talked about the urge to stretch and that UMN problems are considered less dangerous in terms of ALS progression. Can you tell me the more dangerous signs of progression?
BTW I agree with Charlotte. I too am impressed with your knowledge.
    Hello Hal,
I just wanted to say Hello, and thank you for a kind comment you posted in reply to something I wrote a couple of weeks ago. Ive been reading on this site on and off for more than a year, and have only just decided to get more involved; looking forward to getting to know a few people now. Untill now Ive never had any personal contact with others with MND.
    Regards,
    Roderick.
I just have to get this off my chest.......every time I see your name I have this terrible thought that if you are halfin you must also be halfout and I worry so much for your comfort. Please put me out of my misery and tell me you are quite quite comfortable - well, as can be.
    Much much love, friend
