Well let me know the news ok!!! Tell your dad hi for me! He is very lucky that he has friends that have truly stuck by him!
Aimee congratulations girl!! I know you are excited! We go through those days here too! Some good, and some bad. How does your dad feel about a grandbaby?
    Hi, Aimee.

Hal does have a pic line that we are using for the daily glutathione infusions. Also for B12 and magnesium. He feels they help him. We did the infusions by needle IV to a vein in his arm for about one year. First we went to the doctor the IV infusions. Then the doctor, who is very helpful, agreed to have his nurse train me in the clinic so I could do it at home - to save us money and time. I did the IV at the clinic, with a nurses guidance, for about a month. I am a Physical Therapist, not a nurse, so this was very new to me.. After about a month, I was able to place the IV on my own, and I did it at home unsupervised for almost 6 months - but was always worried that I would do something wrong. We finally had the pic line placed last fall. It's been much easier - now the only difficult part is changing the dressing, and the connector to the line, once a week. We also need to keep it clean and dry. The IV administration is very easy and painless.
Help??? what is that. Bruce has three girls all grown with kids, they call him every few days, come see him every few weeks, stay hour or so, then gone again. I am really worried about what I will do wrkwise when he starts getting worse. I have to work.
My husband's voice is getting hard too understand too! he really no longer talks in sentences, just a few words. I keep putting off any work to our house, because I feel like he will really give up. Can your dad still walk and do most things still? This disease takes away so much fromn all of us.
Aimee, thank you so much for both your kind and encouraging words as well as checking on my ability to have a message area open. I so appreciate both. The Lord is a strong tower. Love, Ann
Aimee, would you try again and see if you can leave a message on my page--I just looked at my User CP and don't see a restriction at all on the profile messaging. I'll need to report a problem if there is one. If you can't leave a message, just leave it here on your page, and I'll check. Thanks a lot. I so appreciate your prayers. You are very dear. Love, Ann
Thank you, Aimee. Keep me informed on your dad's progress. There is no better support than your family and God. Seems we have both. Just have to work thru the bad days and enjoy the good days. Hope to talk to you soon. Brayden
    Hi Braden,

Don't ever worry about being long winded......no worries at all:) I can only imagine how difficult that waiting stage can be......no fun at all! But, I tell you, you by all means have the right attitude. I'm sorry your mom left you so early, but it sounds like she gave you some awesome advice! Also, I am glad you have your children, friends and support of the church.....there is no greater help than the Lord, as you already know! Thank you for praying for my dad; I continue to pray for you all on a daily basis! I know He hears me:) Hope your day has been as smooth sailing as possible....stay strong! Aimee
