Hello everyone,
I'm so grateful to find this site and see the support offered. My dearest friend is 41 and has deteriorated rapidly. She was sent home from the hospital with a "preliminary" diagnosis of PBP but the neurologist never told us that. She was told another doctor would call her for an appointment. She has no medical insurance - no one wants her!
Is there anyone on the forum here with information on how I can get her fast-tracked to get her Medicare in Illinois? I know nothing about this subject. Also, is there anyone in the Chicago area with doctor recommendations?
We are so lost, and our hearts are broken. TIA,
