I’ve posted here before , about a year ago I had weird symptoms . Twitching all over specially calf’s .
Had every test done except mri , EMG .
Doctor thought it was anxiety .
I do admit it was a very stressful situation and I had an all time anxiety .

Recently I got diagnosed with covid around December 3rd and got really ill , I’m better now but suddenly I’m twitching on my knees . I heard that’s a red flag spot for twitching .
Do get random twitches everywhere that come and go .
Dr diagnosed me with TMJ but read here that it’s common with people with ALS due to weakening jaw muscles .
I went months where the twitching disappeared but recently slowly returned .
Should I be concerned and ask for an EMG ?
Anxiety runs in my family my mom suffered from it and some of my brothers when they were younger had panic attacks and anxiety . I never experienced that so why not that I’m in my 30s should I suddenly be anxious .

No there is no place that twitches are a red flag. Twitching as you have been told is common and without accompanying weakness or other clinical signs meaningless. Twitching and other scarier neurological symptoms are very common after covid also.
if you are worried see a doctor
