Thank you dear friend. I really appreciate it. I hope this week is kind to you. Jason's goes to ALS clinic tomorrow.

    Much Love,

    ~ Becca
    Hi dear Laurel,
How are you doing? Are you okay with having moved, or is this still a time of grieving? When I read in the fun "Tea" thread about the dogs and their antics, it seems so odd not having a dog! A friend brought several meals yesterday, and didn't stay more than 10 minutes (I was in bed), but brought her dog upstairs to visit me. It was such a delight.

You are very dear. Ann xoxo
Aurel, I was just thinking the same thing. I'm just like the hockey player who takes a licking but keeps on ticking, my headache is gone and I feel good. Now if those Canucks can just win this game!
Hi Laurel, a good Sunday morning to you! I am sitting in bed waiting for my help to come get me up and thought I would say hello. I have a new dedicated to me helper now and so I hope to be able to get out a bit more now that the snow us going and she has time. So I hope that my cabin fever will be reduced somewhat but I also just got a 32 inch tv for my room so if I have to be cooped up I won't be so bored. I saw that you had to move and give up your horses, I'm so sorry. We have no horses but I would hate to have to leave our acreage so I feel for you. All the best

Hi Laurel thank you so much for your reply, you cannot post a comment to my blog unless you join as a follower :0) please add yourself because it means so much to have you all, I agree about the social worker, actually the whole clinic was buzzing but nothing really got accomplished, i have run out of steam I am having a very down week and finding it hard to focus, hope things are ok with you and yours (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) from Kim.
Laurel, thanks for telling me your concern today for Joel. I'll be especially praying for him. Yes, it is a concern for me as well. I'm glad the Christian thread is comforting for you. Post there anytime, Laurel.

Thank you! I really appreciate you. We are doing fine and are waiting for the final word.
Hi Laurel, I just read another of your insightful posts and wanted you to know how helpful you are--I really appreciate you.

Thank you! I really appreciate your concern. We are doing great and hope you guys are too!
Thanks! We are doing well and everything is okay. Hope you are doing well too! Love, Joel
Thanks Laurel. I guess it won't really cheer her up but I do think of her often and so hate what this disease does to us and to our dreams. I wish that at least we could all be comfortable in the time we have left.
Thanks Laurel, I guess everyone has to deal with this in their own way. If I let this start to bother me it really would. He and his wife talked us into moving here so they could help look after me as his wife is an RN. After putting half a mil into this joint property I don't see them. It hurts. Hope you are doing well!
Laurel, I have been thinking the same thing and want to talk to my doctors about it. I already have with my peg tube an unnatural hole in my body (no piercings!) so why not another? I have a question, if I get a trache can I suction myself? I am right now doing most of my own care and still have reasonable use of my hands so if I could still do the suctioning then that would be a big help. What kind of care will I need as my arm weakness progresses? Thanks for your help.
