i get those relaxed muscle fasticulations as well 24 7 in the calves and just above the knee. I didnt video those, those are the fasticulations that caused me to go see the neuro
 
Patrick, how long have you had the normal fasciculations? With ALS, its rare to have them before weakness and if so, it is matter of months. Without reflex changes, weakness or atrophy (I doubt you have atrophy if there is no weakness), its most likely BFS.
 
I have had the normal fasticulations off and on for years,but they started non stop about 8 months ago, i didnt feel any weakness, but i do notice some atrophy.
 
Has a neuro confirmed the atrophy? I do not think you can have true atrophy without a sense of weakness. Also having twitches for years on and off is good sign - just in calves or widespread?
