Hi to all!
First, English is not my fluent language, but i will try ti do my best
I'm 31F, with so strong health anxiety, which i tried to cure, but...
So, lets begin. I have widespread muscle twitches for about 2 years and more. Not constant, maybe 4-5 times per day, not everyday. I always thought that they are because my nervous system is so active (im almost always nervous for something).
December 23 i had sudden left leg pain behind the knee, i was lumping for few days and goes away.
February i was so sick with flu, and for about two weeks i was so bad, that was hard for me to lift my head.
After the flu i got some blurred vision in right eye, i was at ophthalmologists few times and they didn't find nothing. Still have it, and nothing found.
My arms starts shaking from that sickness, i have a tremor and dizziness. I was at neurologist, she said You are anxious (of course). After that i saw in Dr. GOOGLE for symptoms if MS (that blurred vision). I was scared to death, made appointment for MRI of head (April 23), was clear.
After that appointment with neurologist, she make some exams, legs, arms and eyes, "You have anxiety".
I had some tingling in legs, like i could feel anything with my skin.
Before that, i felt my left leg differently, like weak and shaky, but i was walking normally and didn't mention it, that time i was with shaking body from stress.
Meanwhile i was starting with antidepressant, after consultation with psychiatrist.
One morning at April, i woke up with weird feeling in arm. Like numbness, but not severe, and weakness like feeling. From fingers to arpit. I thought i was sleeping funny, but that feeling never goes away.
So, after that I was at neurologist again.
I was concerned about MS, tremor and blurred vision and totally forget to tell about twitches. I tell her about this arm feeling
She made some test and Nerve Conduction. After that she said "MS can start like that, you have to wait for new symptoms before new MRI., Nerve Conduction is fine."
So, whole summer i was with this weird numb-like feelings in left arm and leg.
Arm feeling dissappear for about 10 days at November and appears again. (or i just stop mention it, im not sure..)
So, the symptoms that i have are so scaring to me. I feel whole my leg weak, weird feeling, so weird. I can run, i can squat, i can stand on that leg, but i feel it different. Sometimes i have muscle aching in thigh, calf. I have no footdrop.
I felt that leg gets tired easier than other.
Sometimes I have like burning sensation in whole leg.
With arm is the same, strange feeling, some kind of stiffness in fingers, but i can do anything, no matter weird feelings.
I have that like burning in my whole arm too.
Twitches continue to apper, legs, arms, back, butt...
I know my age is not exactly typical for ALS, but im scared from the symptoms and twitches. After i read about ALS they become more
not interrupting my sleep, but i feel them when I'm sitting (i work at office, and sit whole day and typing).
I know that you are not specialist here, and can give me diagnose, but i just want to know are my symptoms respond to early ALS, should i be concerned...
Thank you!
