We stopped going. The anticipation and anxiety of going, then to only receive notice that you’ve declined, is harmful to an ALS patient. All of us in here are trying to figure out why. What caused my husbands ALS? And everyone in here has individual reasons. However for us, we have noticed that situations like appointments, emotional moments, scares, and things that make him angry, take away from his strength that is not recoupable.
