    Question about Nuedexta

I might need to contact my Dr but thought I would ask here first. I take many medications through my feeding tube, but Nuedexta is prescribed 2 per day by mouth. Each day it is becoming more difficult to take meds via mouth...my tongue seems to be too thick and pills are always sticking to it...

    Timeframe of the disease

Tried to reply to my last thread to keep all in one place, but it has been closed. I have done a good job staying off this site for the past few weeks. But these damn symptoms won't go away! Have had 2 EMGs both were "normal" although the second one picked up rare MAUPs. I haven't been able...

    Husband diagnosed with ALS

My husband was diagnosed 1/2007 but had symptoms like foot drop, twitching, weakness, fatigue and slurred speech for about2 years prior to that. He kept it a secret from me--he knew it was serious and didn’t want me to worry. I didn't notice anything except the fatigue until about 6 months...

Anyone heard of Pleurisy in ALS patients?

My friend who was diagnosed in November had terrible chest pain last night. She ended up in the ER and said she has Pleurisy. From what I was told it's an inflammation of the chest muscles due to excessive coughing. I've read some about Pleurisy and the two didn' really line up. Can anyone shed...
