Just want to bang my head too!! The VA is slow, but can't complain with the help they give! Worry, worry, worry, about John...can I stay on top of this thing?...Monster? There is lots of stress involved just preparing...I'm sure you can relate!! Many life changing issues constantly. Decisions to be made...etc.... Otherwise we are hanging in there!! We had lots of family stuff this weekend. John was tired ...very tired... He used his cane, and should have had his walker...even the transport chair...but he made it!!! Whew... ..... He is having such neusea, but Lacomis thinks it is his pain meds, so he stopped thaking them after being sooooOOOooo sick for about two weeks. At least that seems to be it...he is feeling better.
Hope you are coping with the stress!!!! You are in my prayers!!!

Rita, how have you been?

Pretty good my friend! I'm noticing a little more weakness in my legs but still upright. ALSA lent me a wheelchair which helps a lot when there is any distance involved. We're heading for NV for some good friends wedding tomorrow. I love Autumn!

Glad you are doing better!!
John and I are okay! He was measured for a power wheelchair, although he doesn't need it right now, it has to be ordered for the future. We have someone coming to evaluate our house for handicapped care/living, ....this is all so hard!!
But, the good things are we have a lot of family things going on this weekend....My step son Mike is coming for the weekend, I am going to a family (cousin) baby shower, and then Sunday John and I are going to a baptism! Then a Baptism/Steeler party!
Friday is my birthday! 55!!! Woo Hoo.... John and I are going out with Mike for dinner. John is getting me a smart phone!
You take care of yourself!! You still anxious, breathing, sleeping issues?
I meditate that and the Lexapro help so much!

Recenly saw on TV about the Triangle and the subs they have...the Battleship was the feature!

Not a good game Rita!
I asked John if he knew Jaisons in Braddock. He said he does remember!!
When we go for the drug study, or doc visits, we stop in Swissvale for a Triangle sub "A Battleship". Yum, ever go there?

I'm sure at tax time this one will be fun with wages, disability, access to retirement fund etc. I'll have to find a tax acct who can come to me.

Dang Steelers. Well just had some meaty marinara & bread sticks from pizza hut. Said for 2 & I finished off about 2/3rds. Ninja finished rest. I have to force myself to eat.

Pasta reminds me when I got Ninja 14 yrs ago. She raided the garbage of leftover spaghetti & next morning getting out of bed I stepped barefoot into cold thrown up spaghetti. Yuck! She still raids the garbage.

Thank you!! My hubby wasin corporate accounting, so I am not sure he would be able to answer your tax questions, but we could see. Ask, then I will ask him! Yeah...Go Steelers!!! Yikes..they are making me nervous at the beginning of this game!!

I have learned that being strong and not complaining has gotten me no where...gone be really needy next time.

Hi Rita, so sorry your doc's seem just as in the dark as mine are, No one has ever dealt with this here before, they may have had patients, but all I get at neuro's is "how are you doing today?" What can I do, then dont look into it just send me to someone else. It is frustrating isn't it?...Hope you have a better day also...((HUG))
