Losing Independence

So today my husband comes in and says the kids are insisting he go fishing for Father's Day. But they don't have time to spend with me. So my mother-in-law is coming to stay. She is a wonderful lady, so that is not the problem. There are two problems. One is my feelings about losing the independence of staying alone. Then there's the fact my children can't be bothered to spend time with me.
