My boys came through having their tonsils out well. The little guy was running around the house that evening. My nine year-old is more like me, he had to sleep the anesthesia off, but was almost his old self by yesterday. Tomorrow morning I will be going to Houston for my 2 1/2 days of tests with Dr. Appel at The Methodist Hospital Neurological Institute. I'm ready to get this over. I'm a person who worries about the details, like getting there on time and finding everything, but I'm not too worried about the tests. I know that I will have a muscle biopsy, another set of EMG/NCVs, and possible a spinal tap, so there's bound to be some discomfort in there somewhere. I will probably be able to post sometime Friday, so I will let everyone here know about my test results and possible diagnosis.
