Surgery

So I am going under the knife today for a Septoplasty. Apparently my nasal passage is inflamed and is keeping me from breathing normally. I had overnight oximetry and my low saturation rate was 51%. Breathing has become very difficult over the past weeks, however my first post diagnosis visit with the neurologist I was told that I am too strong in the rest of my body for the shortness of Breath to be ALS related. Still I feel a little uneasy about being sedated. Any how I will let you know how things go in a couple of days when I recover.
