We need a cure!

Hello there, How's everyone feeling? I'm feeling well. I've seen my doctors and they are pleased with where I'm at with progression which made me feel relieved, nothing has really changed. I have met a lot of people already and I know their going through hell, The fighters, The Carers, The Partners, The mates, all going through hell watching and trying to help anyway they can. I've heard so many people say ' I wish I could wish this disease away' and I wish they could..... The harsh truth is that no one can. The only thing we can do is support the people on the front line fighting for away to holt progression, the researchers that are using every resource to their disposal to find the answers to ALS/MND. I worry sometime that the next generation may suffer just as bad as we are and have. They need our help though as much as we need theirs, Disease and illness has ever been cured over night. I hear a lot of people that think they have it and try and self diagnose? You can't go the doctors instead of wasting away with worry and when you find out you don't have it put all your time into helping find the answers for those who are suffering, because you know that 'Slight fear' you had when you thought you had it? It is nothing in comparison to some one who wakes up every morning and goes to bed every night hoping that nothing will get worse. Put you energy into finding how to stop it by helping someone with it or donating to research.....ALS/MND fear is terrible I know I have the disease but I'm not giving up the good fight and neither should you help us make a difference if your on Facebook help us spread the word and like and share the page!
