A community based, nonprofit organization, HPCIC offers comprehensive medical, emotional, social and spiritual support delivered directly to patients and their loved ones by providing intermittent visits at their home, in skilled nursing and assisted living facilites and in the hospital. Nursing staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Services include Palliative Care Specialists, Hospice Physicians, Nursing Care by Registered Nurses and Liscensed Practical Nurses, Medical Social Workers, Certified Nursing Assistants, Diagnosis-related Drugs and Medical Supplies, Caregiver Guidance and Support, Spiritual Counselors for all Faiths, Volunteer Support, Bereavement Care for Children and Adults, Educational Program for Medical Professionals and Community Education Programs. The “Patient Comes First” is our philosophy and guides all our decisions. Those eligible for care are not denied HPCIC services because of an inability to pay.
