Angela Hospice is an independent, non-profit organization, providing comprehensive, compassionate, and Christlike care for patients of every age, creed, color, and belief.Angela Hospice was founded by the Felician Sisters in 1985. As the hospice movement blossomed in the US, Angela Hospice pioneered with dedication and innovation. While caring for adult patients, we also developed a specialized pediatric program, built the first freestanding hospice facility in Michigan, and opened the first prenatal hospice program in the Midwest.Angela Hospice patients receive the benefit of a coordinated approach that nurtures them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our program includes case management, physician services, help with personal care from a hospice aide, resources and assistance from a medical social worker, volunteer help as needed, and spiritual care as desired. Compassionate grief support services are also available to family and loved ones absolutely free-of-charge.
