Bruyère Continuing Care

Services are provided in both French and English. The program/service currently serves adults.

Bruyère Continuing Care is a professional hospice and respite care facility located in Ottawa, Ontario.

Bruce Peninsula Hospice is committed to providing compassionate non-medical care by trained volunteers for families who choose end-of-life care and/or bereavement support.

We accept referrals from family and friends medical staff agencies clergy long-term care facility personnel and we accept clients who have received a palliative diagnosis. We also support clients in LTC with chronic disease in the end stages of their disease.

We can provide trained volunteers to offer free non medical support such as companionship simple comfort measures back rubs and position changes bedside or home vigilance while family members rest or are engaged in other activities so the family can feel comfortable in taking time away from the bedside or the home setting. We also provide bereavement and emotional support.
