IWK Health Centre - Pediatric Palliative Care Service is a professional hospice and respite care facility located in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The IH West Hospice Palliative program mission is to ensure the provision of high quality integrated hospice palliative services to people and their families who are living with a life threatening illness throughout both the duration of the illness and bereavement.

We have a team of supports that will be there to answer your questions offer support and provide hands on care if requested to alleviate the feeling of being a burden to your loved ones.

We can provide the information support you have identified as needing in order to have quality of life until you die.We guide you and your family on the journey through the end stage of disease provide you and your family with resources to allow you to preplan your next steps and to provide and teach you how to manage your symptoms.
