Neuro said CFS a few months ago. Two good EMGs. With new symptoms lately, abdominal tightness and cramping. Coughing with liquid. And a pulmonary study that came back low MEP 55% expected docs want another EMG end of December. Hands also a little clumsy. After 6 months they say they feel more confident. Then again at 12 months for lots of confidence.

Going to Mayo end of this month for second opinion. Any ideas questions or insight appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Craig, the odds still favor a muscle problem, whether primary or secondary to the chemo, rather than a motor neuron disease. Keep us posted. Meanwhile, you might move to thicker liquids like smoothies and soup. Plain water, citrus, and spices can be among the most difficult to process.
