I currently use grab bars to get out of my wheelchair, stand up and sit on the toilet. Because of weakening legs I put a Toilevator on the toilet to raise it to my wheelchair height so I can transfer over from the wheelchair without standing up, instead sliding over. When I first tried to transfer that way my Vovo bidet seat came loose and slid over to one side. My plumber was able to resecure the bidet but told me the plastic mounting brackets would likely break after repeated slides from the wheelchair. Do anybody here use a bidet seat that works with slide transfers? I love the bidet but would like to get a model that won't come loose or break when I slide over from my wheelchair.

Have you seen "LiftSeat Powered Toilet Lifts"? I bought one a year ago and put a bidet on it. It's about $2000 but bought my independence for over a year.
