(With hook-up arms for 2022 Hyundai Palisade, 2024 Ford Expedition, and 2018 Audi A5 available; others can be ordered from manufacturer.)
This lift was a back-saver for me when I could no longer lift my mother into a tall vehicle seat…it also was safer for her. Bought from Access Unlimited for over $7500, required long lead time; will sell for $3000. Will ship or can meet up for hand-off anywhere in the Minneapolis metro area as soon as we can arrange a time. Will throw in rechargeable battery, two sizes of slings and connecting arms for a 2022 Hyundai Palisade, a 2018 Audi A5, and/or a 2024 Ford Expedition for free (if you have one of those vehicles); other models will require special order from manufacturer…trust me, it’s all worth every penny.
The lift needs to be assembled as needed: With the door open, attach the mounting bracket to vehicle near hinges, then attach the lift and arms to it. Move arms and chair close to each other, hook sling to arms, lift person using the remote, manually move them sideways into vehicle, lower onto the seat, detach the sling, and disassemble the lift and mount. It sounds involved—and it is—but it makes the impossible once again possible…and safe.
The manufacturer is selling a newer model now, but they will support any version for its lifetime. They are so helpful and customer-oriented that if you have a different car model, and therefore need to order a different mounting bracket, they will be a wonderful resource. They even provide paperwork for getting a mounting bracket for free if you have a new(er) vehicle from a manufacturer that gives rebates for disability modifications.
Here’s a link to the manufacturer site; they don’t post prices online, but feel free to call them to find out what a great deal it is to get this so cheap. Access Unlimited Multi-Lift Millennium Edition Specs
The photo with the red cushion in the sling shows what this lift looks like on a Palisade. It’s so slick.
