Hello, I am really worried I have ALS.
I have had muscle wasting alongside loosing weight (I also take steroids daily for adrenal insufficiency)
My nan died in november and December after her funeral I noticed a on off twitch in my buttock and weird tingly feeling at the top of my skull, then a few days later a twitch in my left calf which the next day resulted in twitching all over my body, mostly legs bum and occasionally arms, when I wake up my legs feel like they are vibrating, I occasionally get pins and needles in my legs. The twitching calmed Down but was happening maybe 10 times a day, but the past 2 weeks it has ramped up again. Not as bad as it was but definitely more. I have such bad health anxiety. I'm 30 and so worried I have ALS.

No weakness or drop foot or anything yet, do suffer with stiff muscles in my neck and shoulders and do have nerve pain down one leg occasionally.

Just to add, the twitching is mostly at rest.
It can feel like a little ping in one area then the next somewhere else, or stay at an area for a little while then go. When I'm not thinking about it I don't notice it as much. I had a nerve study test where I get small shocks on arms and legs a year ago this was normal, I was experiencing muscle washing in my legs at this time.

I think you know this is more about anxiety and stress than any sign of ALS. Why not see your GP or a nurse practitioner for reassurance, and consider help for the anxiety?
