Has anyone had a trial IVIG before ALS diagnosis?

Yes I have. All I had was hand weakness and forearm weakness for about 9 months. My EMG tests were abnormal and then I tested positive for GM1 antibody and told I had MMN. I started having muscle twitches and IVIG was not helping so I saw a neuromuscular doctor who repeated EMG testing upper and lower body this time and then told me I have ALS.
