Happy Thanks giving to all. For the first time in 20 years I am
not preparing and cooking the turkey. I used to make up the
stuffing, put the turkey in a cooking bag and prepare the rest
of the goodies

This year my son in law and his wife came up from South
Carolina and they are doing all the cooking... from my menu. :)

In a way I feel left out but in another way I don’t mind the
break. I hope they know I’ve said, “Who made the mess
(cleaning the pans, pots, dishes and silverware) cleans the
mess”. That I won’t miss. :)

Something different and my favorite ALS/life in general saying
now… “Nothing stays the same anymore.”

PS. I can never remember… does the quotation mark go
before the period or after the period. :)

It depends on where you are. You are correct for US. The UK is the reverse unless the period ( aka full stop) is part of the quotation itself. One of the many little traps for those of us who need to be bilingual ( US/UK)

I hope you enjoy being waited on. You deserve it

Sounds great, Al. And your menu. :)

The seasoning of gratitude can make any meal taste better.

Best to all.
