Good afternoon all,

Looking for some insight/reinsurance. I went to a neurologist for tongue tremors on 9/2/2024. He did a complete physical i scored 5/5 on all movement testing. Only thing notice was right arm was less of a swing when walking but normal when turning. He strongly believed my tremors are benign in nature and no further testing needed at that time. Follow up appointment for 12/2024..

Fast forward literally 4 days later after my appointment, I've seem like I'm off balance especially when I do a quick turn and my knees feel unstable when standing at rest. I do have terrible anxiety since 9/11 and I'm a hypochondriac.

In your experience could these be anxiety related or can symptoms of a neurological issue manifest so quickly. Should I schedule a follow up sooner. I unfortunately think the worst when it comes to my health.

Thank you in advance. Greatly appreciated.

Yes, can easily be anxiety-related. Even visiting a medical office for reassuring news can be stressful. Instead of booking a precious followup slot, I'd take yourself somewhere you can reflect on all the health you have (that others here do not), whether a walk in the woods or helping the less fortunate.

I appreciate your feedback. And my heart aches for all that are dealing with this disease. My apologies if my question wasn't appropriate for this group. I'm just concerned/worried about my health in general

It was OK to ask, but you have your answer, so I hope you can keep moving forward from here. If you can't control your fears, please share them with a counselor who can help.
