  • Steven, I don't have medicare. My chair is wonderful now, but Phil has done a lot of work on it--changing the way the legs worked is one thing he did. It is also not reliable with the electronics. It's an Invacare T D X-SP, and while I do love it when it's being good, I'd get a Permobile if I were to do it over. All these chairs have sensors which need to be removed unless you're inclined to be too adventurous. I've had mercury sensors and one other kind removed, but there's still something left, which I'd like gone!
    Hi Steven,
I hope all is well. I'm doing okay. I'm really looking forward to getting a walker with wheels today. Shopping carts at the store have become my new bffs lately!

Hi Steven. I was in Long Beach today cruzin' the boardwalk on the beach. Gotta keep moving because the alternative is...

Well, people amaze me... and it seems those in the medical equipment business tend to be among the worst. I hope you get your calf pads, Steven!
glad you had a good visit with your coworkers. they probably seem like family after all those years. I would have gotten back with you sooner but my internet has been bonkers..lol Two of Bruce's friends from California are flying in to spend the weekend with us this weekend. That is a long trip I think. Your humidity is not like ours, I think that is what his friend told us. Dang it is hot here! Have a good night my friend..
Thank you for welcoming me ^^... I look forward to reading very informative posts and I hope to be able to contribute as well.
That much is true. I never had the nerve to have my own so I just love on everybody elses. The closer the better. This one will be in Montana which is not that far away. They're going to be great parents too! I hope you're having a good evening Sweet Man.
    Hugs,
    Marta
Yeah, why do I always want to munch baby toes and fingers? Must mean something primal. ; )
Good mornin Punkin Man! It's a beautiful morning here. I hope you're doing well this morning!! We've been having a wondful time. Roger the four legged weapon tailed Golden Retriever went home. He's a sweetie but huge and that tail is painful!! LOL!!! We found we had a house guest that we didn't know anything about all week!! Niece is with child and they sprung the news on us in the sweetest way. There was a special picture on the last page of their wedding album from last year! Not much to show yet but there is a little someone in there somewhere!! I think she's just getting in to the 2nd trimester. Yay! Another bably!!!!!
Thank you Steven, All the words here are comforting as we try and get our heads around this. If you need anything and I can help just ask.
Hi back to you Steven! Yes, we are neighbors here in So. Cal.....have you all been socked in by the "June gloom" too? I want the sun to come out! I enjoyed your photo album, and it looks like your niece and nephew are very special to you....I think it's awesome that you gave BIG John your rifle/gun....he will always treasure it for sure! Happy for you that you have such a loving wife and extended family :) See you soon here! Mary
You are a sweetie pie! Our evening has been strange. My niece and nephew are here which is a good thing and I decide to have a bout of vertigo! I havn't had any problems with that in a couple years! So, to bed for a couple hours instead of visiting and I'm fine now. Then, my nephew brought his golden retreiver and has him in the basement. The kitty litter is also down there so Annabelle decided to use the pot and soil that is home to my fichus tree. Dernit. Now I have to flush the soil with water. Fooie! Oh well, there are worse things I guess.
It's good to see you Toots! Thanks for being so sweet. :)
    Marta
