Hello! I am a student hoping to conduct my CAPstone research on excessive saliva in ALS, or "sialorrhea."

Sialorrhea occurs when people diagnosed with ALS experience weakness in their mouth and tongue and are unable to swallow or seal their lips effectively to prevent saliva from escaping. Currently, there is a lack of research in this area. By identifying the ways in which sialorrhea most affects ALS patients' quality of life, this gap can be filled and ALS treatment can be further optimized!

If you are diagnosed with ALS and experience this symptom, please fill out this questionnaire to help fill the gap in research! Your answers will be completely anonymous. This should take you around 5 minutes.
