Is this from ALS?

My father has ALS and is yelling out in what sounds like pain or possibly frustration but says nothing wrong. And it seems that sometimes he doesn’t even realizing that he’s doing it. He says he’s not in any pain and that there is nothing he needs help with. Is this from the ALS or possibly one of the medications he’s taking? Any info or advice would be appreciated! Thank you

Sounds more like meds or possibly a sleep cycle disorder than ALS if he is not aware of it. We might say maybe FTD if he had any other behaviors resembling dementia. What are his meds?
