I've always liked that song. Cool that you covered in on the drums.

Regarding Speaker what's his name.....no comment

I’ve always liked listening to drummers who keep the drumming simple
without a lot of cymbal crashing and repetitive paradiddles (rolls) across all
the other drums (toms). What I call them.

Denny Davis - David Bowie
Doug “Cosmo” Clifford - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Frank Beard - ZZ Top
Charlie Watts (RIP) - Rolling Stones
Ringo Starr – Beatles (Really wasn’t a Beatles fan)
Others.

Ok, back to “Fame” above for our new Speaker of the House. :)

PS. Kim, from things you have written you may also like the song
"Here I go again" by Whitesnake. Maybe not or really doesn't apply.
I like the drum cover to that one too. Before I married Ann that
was my favorite... many years single.

Al, yes!

Also, my favorite drummer of all time is Ginger Baker.

We have recently lost three greats... John Bonham. John Blackwell and Ginger Baker. (RIP)

Many times I still think back I should have pursued the drums.

Many years ago a drummer told me “You gotta be in love with
the tubs, almost passion.” But then he said, “If you play a gig
you’re the first one in and the last one out, forget weekends
and good luck finding a woman who’ll live with that for long.

Guess I was honest with myself and knew that passion really
wasn’t there. Just a hobby.

I have a life saying I reflect to for so many other things today...

“Shoulda, coulda, woulda” :)

Here we say "Shoulda, coulda, woulda ... didn't"
