Controlling saliva

Hi, Need help for my husband- how do you control the excessive saliva with Bulbar ALS. They gave him all sorts of meds, but the only one that worked is a beta blocker and dropped his heart rate suddenly- Ended up in hospital. ANYTHING U SUGGEST is helpful. Regards, Annie

he has tried atropine, scopalamine and robinul? You might discuss with his doctor botox. Does he go to mgh?
