Hi Wish, Tillie, and Laurie and everyone else. Thank you for giving the advice. You've been very helpful to me and I think I will be staying on this forum from time to time to see if I can help others.
After some time, I think I'm better coping from the experience but I might still ask for third party help or some counseling to see if I can process more of it. I'm definitely glad to have the opportunity to be there at the end because not everyone gets that chance. I do feel better about the fact that I don't need to worry if my father is suffering from ALS anymore. I will probably continue to see if there is any progress in curing ALS in the future. I might do a walk for ALS in the future.
