    I have very similar symptoms, and similar age group as well.

    -Twitching for 7 years
    -SOB for 5 years, 24/7 smothering feeling
    - mri xray blood tests normal

    Did you figure out anything new recently?

    i know you haven't been active in nearly a year but i'm having really similar symptoms, did you ever find out what was going on?

    Update:
    - breathing has gotten much worse, constantly feel starved for air, x-ray of lungs was normal
    - intercostal muscles fascic all the time and feel like jelly
    - core is very weak, can hardly plank for 15 seconds
    - still underweight
    - still have brisk reflexes
    - doctors still dismissive

    If your breathing is a concern ask for pulmonary function testing. Your gp can order. ALS respiratory involvement shows in a definite pattern on pfts. It can also detect other causes of breathing difficulties

    I'm sorry your doctors haven't come up with answers. I'm also sorry you've received such dismissive responses to your posts.
