Ah yes... Pop off was a problem I had too. But once I went down a size that made a big difference. Haven't had a leaks/blowoffs in a very long time. And the key also was using either the Coloplast Clear Advantage or the Rochester brand. Those work better than any other style for alot of folks. Anyway, I hope you get to a solution quickly!

Didn't work meaning popped off/leaked, or some other reason?
FYI, when you respond to a visitor message by just posting on your own page again, the other person doesn't get any notification. But I think if you click on the View Conversation link first and then put your message in there, it does.

Hi BrianD, yes we tried to condom catheter too, but it didn't work for my husband so we quickly went to the Foley. Thanks for checking though

Wanted to PM you but you don't have enough posts yet. Saw your post about Foley trouble. Just checking that you have tried the condom catheter too. Maybe it doesn't apply to your particular circumstances.

Hi Casa--I put the song you mentioned in Al's Sandbox! to do it the easiest way--first you make your post, then go back into it with the edit button (only able to use for 30 min. I think) and paste in the link. it will show up right away. if you just put the link in the post before you actually post it gets hung up in limbo land. The Edit button works perfect

I don't see that anyone has welcomed you to the forums, so....welcome. I see your first post was a while back, so you've been here longer than me. Anyway, I just wanted to say 'hello'.

Reading your posts, I couldn't help but feel for you. It is hard enough when the kids are already grown, but having to deal with this disease, and continue raising your kids.....well, I know you have a heavy load.

Obviously you are a very strong person and you have all the support your family and this forum can give. As you have seen, there are others with children also facing this, so you are not alone. And, I see where you have offered them your support.

So I noticed that your song did not appear. If you go to the 'Al's sandbox' thread (off topic), and just send any of us (especially vickim) a visitor message, we'll tell you how to post from You Tube.
