Hi there, have a look at my forum post - I hope I am in a similar boat to you with only requiring PT! I have similar symptoms as you and have already had one round of EMG/NCS done but still looking for some answers...to be honest as long as the answer isn't something as earth shattering as ALS it would be a positive!
Hi arronb, have you thought about getting a sleep study done? There are simple in-home ones available and might show if something like sleep apnea is contributing to being tired, snoring, brain fog, etc. Some people even say it can contribute to heart palpitations.

I had a sleep study completed Thursday night. Mild sleep apnea, I'm gonna try a machine. What the guy said don't relate is, numbness in hands, 24/7 limb soreness, 24/7 muscle weakness, leg, arm and stomach twitches. Extreme fatigue, extreme neck pain, brain fog. I will keep going forward with the sleep issue, appreciate the recommendation but the other symptoms are my concern.
Hi Rene!
You did not mentioned, but I wondering maybe you have scoliosis in your spine!?

Hello Paul, after looking it up it is definitely something I will bring up to my doctor via my appointment coming up. I actually was able to see a neurologist last week. He told me I don’t have als and sound pretty confident. He told me he believes it’s post viral dysautonomia. Not sure how I feel about that diagnosis, think my anxiety might be getting the best of me.
Hello,

I read your post and was wondering were your hypo relfexes occurring unilaterally (one side of the body) or bilaterally (both sides of the body)?

Thank you and I wish you well.
Hello,

I am having very similar symptoms as you have described. I just got a mri ordered as well and I have yet taken it. Have you been told anything else by your doctor?

Hello! My doctor had no answer for me. Just had an EMG which was cleaned só for now just monitoring without obsessing because it surely is something else.
