Indeed. Both my parents were in the service (as are a number of forum members), and though they did not make the ultimate sacrifice while serving that we remember and honor today, they are especially in my thoughts on both this day and Veterans Day. I miss them terribly.
I hope the families of those lost in battle take some comfort and great pride in knowing that for many millions of us, this day is not just about outdoor grilling and friends, but about honoring these heroic men and women. Kevin
