And I read your post, and I want to tell that I had too that tongue paralysis one night, maybe three weeks ago. I wasnt getting sleep, and I was trying to tell my wife that "I cant sleep", and my tongue just didnt get any messages from my brain. It went away after couple of seconds.

Hello, I have been having fascics and hand numbness at night for 3-4 months (After COVID). I have some weakness on my left leg as well, and my tongue seems to be atrophied on left side (I am not sure). Also all of the bulbar symptoms exist, maybe speech is not slurred but that is that.

I have clean EMG with NCS just 10 days ago but all of the bulbar symptoms appeared/developed rapidly in 10 days. I don’t know if things happen this fast in ALS or not.

My symptoms started after covid too. I have hand numbness also, it almost feels like the better Ive slept, the number my hands are. Usually pinky and ring finger, but sometimes wrists also.

Last night I had like 7-10 "choking" feelings while I was tryna get sleep lying on my back. It could be a spasm in my throat. Lasts 1-3 seconds, no pain.

Everything gets worse at night for me, same for you ? Maybe because of reduced oxygen while sleeping

I was about to write that in my previous comment but the letter limits made me erase it, but yes, that is exactly what I am thinking.

I started with fasciculations 11/19/22 in left calf then spread to right calf then full-body. When to Neurologist had physical exam no weakness all well. Subsequently, pain, soreness and weakness behind knees, calf muscles, Achilles and heels im hopping around this is 3 weeks and counting.

how is everything going now ?
