I have given my daughter my flip flops. When I fell in early November, it was a warm day and I was wearing flip flops. Now I don't think that it had anything to do with that fall, but to prevent any future problems I agreed with the PT at the ALS Clinic in Houston that they had to go. Now to some this might seem a trivial thing, but it is a sad thing for me. I have always thought that my two best features are my hair and my feet. I have always had pretty feet and I love to wear sandals and show them off. So I will have to find new sandals that have a back strap. I was afraid that all I would find is something my mother or grandmother might wear, but I have found some cute ones at OldNavy.com, so I'm feeling better about the change. I have to also give up my mules and clogs, too, anything that I am not surefooted in. I have a great pair of New Balance mules that I wear to and from Jazzercise. I will probably miss them the most.
