Communication using Technology

Thank you for allowing me to submit to your forum! My name is Jamie Berger and I am a first year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Michigan Technological University. I could really use your help in my research! My mother has had motor and speech impairments since before I was born, and I'd love to make communication simpler for the both of us through technology.

My research study is designed so I can understand what difficulties users with motor and speech impairments are experiencing when using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) technology. With this information, I’d like to create more efficient technologies that satisfy the needs of the users. I've created an anonymous survey with 17 questions that will heavily support my research!
