Variation of severity of symptoms

Hello all. For the past couple of months I have been having generally worsening muscle weakness, as well as muscle twitches and I have been choking on my food and spit, although on some days these symptoms aren’t as bad as in other days, though the symptoms are still there. Is this normal for ALS? I am seeing a neurologist in a little over 2 weeks for these symptoms.

This is hard to answer. We will do worse when overtied but we never get better. If your symptoms are all over that makes ALS less likely. Good luck with the neurologist
