As to socks, something on the feet, yes. Larry couldn't tolerate socks at night but wore Prevalon boots to float his heels, with the boots connected with a sash to keep aligned. The legs can still swell at night, so if you wear socks, make sure they are not too tight and inspect the skin in the morning.
