There are a few people, PALS AND CALS, who sometimes post a question or topic for advice. They get good feedback from several people or more....and then silence. Where did they go? Was the feedback helpful? What happened? Sometimes, the poster gets lots of really good feedback from members and the response is - silence.
I know ALS is too stressful for all, and the hours in every day are just burned away by this relentless disease.
But , if you post, and get a response, say....ok, or thanks or something.
Thanks!

Many join the ALS Forum, read the topic, ask a question, get replies
then do as many, direct their concerns to their Neurologist or care team
which is really the best source. And it has been recommended in so
many words by some in their replies.

More and more PALS may go to clinic once or twice and don’t go
back. Travel, expense or whatever they work with their local care
provider instead.

The clinic I used to go has gone from clinic every two months now
to once every 4 months. Apparently not as many participate and
it’s down to newly diagnosed.

As I have progressed I don’t post much anymore, I read and post
a “like” at the bottom. Now that I can only type with one hand I
had to put this on Word first, copy then paste. 25 minutes, doing
corrections, re-wording and etc.

As far as the “Thanks/OK/Reply thing, some have. Like intro info on
the Newly Diagnosed sub-forum… it is optional. :)
