I received the grant for about 80k. it is now about 120k. has anyone done this ?
Has anyone applied /received the Housing Grant Funds as they increase over the years ?

I was told 117K last week. After talking to a contractor me and my wife decided against remodeling or adding an addition. We just built this house in 2018. We chose plan 4. Which is apply that money towards the principal of our mortgage. Which is great because I also qualify for life insurance that also is paid directly towards my mortgage principal up to 200K.
On a separate grant we are getting the whole house generator along with reimbursement of adding the propane tank. Being on bipap, breathing treatments and cough assist qualifies automatically.
This made our entire week! Knowing that our house is paid for without using my term or whole life insurance has really helped my wife feel a lot more secure in her retirement.
