diaphragm spasms

Oh kfletcher my heart goes out to you. Knowing what's the right thing to do and actually doing it can be two totally different things. When you are ready to deal with this issue emotionally, you will.
My prayer for you is that the spasms (go away!) are intermittent until then.

Clearwater, I don't know if diaphragm spasms are directly affected with the breathing problems they are talking about, but under Wikipedia definition for PLS it does state in later stages of PLS that breathing can become an issue needing ventilator breathing assistance.....still scarey either way, because I've made my wishes clear to my family that if the time ever comes, I don't want to go on a ventilator and I don't ever want to be resuscitated...to go against my wishes is them only being selfish.
